Most projection clocks are dim and monochrome — useless once the sun is up. Frixos uses a bright 65k-colour LCD and a real projection lens to throw a clear image roughly 15″ × 15″ across the room at 8 feet. Day and night brightness sliders, plus auto-dimming via a light sensor or a schedule, keep it comfortable around the clock.
